Donna Eagles

Donna Eagles is a Santa Fe, New Mexico based artist working in both oil and archival inks.

She began studying painting and drawing at an early age at the Fink School of Traditional Art in the Baltimore area She also studied classical piano, and continues to this day.

She was trained in the classical method of drawing human anatomy from plaster casts and learned technique from copying master drawings and paintings.

After secondary school Donna studied drawing and painting at the Art Institute of Boston. She eventually set up studios in Arizona and California. After receiving certification in garden design from the University of California Berkeley she developed a design practice in Mill Valley, CA where she designed residential gardens for many years, continuing to paint as well. In 2007 she moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to pursue her career as a fine artist.
